*I think you can view it now!*
Here is the video I took of Suzanne's concert. That is she conducting the world premiere of her piece!
I will add the words as soon as I get them -- it will enhance your viewing experience to know what is being sung.
*Here you go!*
I. Sing, O Daughter! (Zephaniah 3:14, 20)
Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel...and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth.
II. Magnificat (Luke 1:46-49)
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
My spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
He has looked with favor on His lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed;
The Almighty has done great things for me
And holy is His name.
III. And there shall come forth (Isaiah 11:1, 4:2)
And there shall come forth a rod out of the root of Jesse and a flower shall rise out of his root. On that day, the branch of the Lord will be luster and glory; and the fruit of the earth will be honor and splendor for the survivors of Israel.
IV. Ave Regina Caelorum (Traditional)
Hail, O Queen on Heaven's throne!
Root of Jesse, gate of morn!
From you unto us true Light has shone,
Hail, O Queen of Angels!
Praise the Father, praise the Son,
Holy Spirit, Three in One!
O God Most High, we Thee adore;
Grant Thy grace evermore!
To help you listen for a couple of things, I will say that the first and third movements are prophecies from the Old Testament, and the hopefulness and perhaps uncertainty is expressed musically by some dissonance.
The second movement is the Magnificat. I will have to get you the name of the beautiful singer.
The fourth is the Ave Regina Caelorum (the first verse of which is translated by Bridget!). Listen for the descant on the second verse. The soprano singing that is Jennifer Russo, a voice to remember! (I would also love to hear Rosie singing that!).
