A Normal Evening at the Lawlers'

All in all we're a pretty regular family. We have simple tastes. We enjoy pretty things, like flowers (especially nice ones we get as gifts):

Fine foods:

Life entertainment from only the finest:

We're cultured, even.

Which makes you wonder about displays like these:

Undue aggression involving sewing scissors:

Reluctance to leave folks alone when they're engrossed in their studies of fine literature:

And a penchant for retiring to obscure, dark corners of rooms while others enjoy after-dinner refreshment (always in the most graceful ways possible).

Why would you want to hang out back there? Especially when we've got cigarettes and extraneous legs on this side of the room!
